Batman Arkham Origins takes place on Christmas Eve and is the prequel to Arkham Asylum. Combat is essentially identical to the previous two games but with some additional options, like electronic gloves, which also serve as a handy method to charge your phone similar to microwaves.
It’s unsettling compared to the previous two Arkham games. Although Rocksteady created a very touching celebration of Batman and the Dark Knights in comics and cartoons, Arkham Origins feels much like the film, pulling numerous elements of that Dark Knight trilogy and clashing themes.
