Fortnite New Chapter 2 Remix Season Kicks Off with a Snoop Dogg Concert in Times Square
Fortnite fans, prepare for a trip down memory lane! The latest Fortnite season, Chapter 2 Remix, launches this Saturday and promises a music-centric, retro throwback to the early days of Chapter 2. Epic Games kicked things off in style Friday night with a live Snoop Dogg concert in Times Square. The rap legend isn’t just the season’s opening act; he’ll be a prominent figure throughout Fortnite Festival Season 6 and beyond, bringing a new flavor to the game’s latest musical season.
The Remix season, wrapping up Chapter 5, celebrates Chapter 2, specifically its first few seasons. Running only through November 30, the season is shorter than usual and features the Remix Pass, a unique battle pass with 70 tiers and five revamped skins from early Chapter 2. That’s one more than last year’s OG Pass!
Each week of the Remix season focuses on a new artist, bringing exclusive locations, weapons, and item shop skins:
- Week 1: Snoop Dogg
- Week 2: Eminem, with a skin inspired by his iconic Houdini music video look
- Week 3: Ice Spice
- Week 4: Tribute to Juice WRLD, with a special cel-shaded skin available for free to all players who log in on the final day of the season
To cap things off, the Remix finale event will take place on November 30.
Fortnite Festival Brings New Music Pass, Headlined by Snoop Dogg
Running through January 14, Fortnite Festival is back with Snoop Dogg as the headliner. The Music Pass, priced at 1,400 V-Bucks, includes a cel-shaded Snoop Dogg skin and various cosmetics. It also comes with four exclusive music tracks:
