Agatha Christie: Death on the Nile Game Announced
Microids has officially announced Agatha Christie: Death on the Nile, a new detective adventure game based on the classic novel. Known for adapting Agatha Christie’s beloved stories into interactive mysteries, Microids previously released Murder on the Orient Express and Hercule Poirot: The London Case.
This new game will feature dual protagonists, Hercule Poirot and Jane Royce, as they investigate a complex murder case that expands beyond the novel’s original ending. Set in a vibrant 1970s environment, players will explore multiple cities, gather evidence, and confront suspects using a Mindmap mechanic and confrontation system.
The teaser trailer gives players a first look at the game’s exotic setting. Scenes include a cruise ship sailing along the Nile River, pyramids in the distance, and a suspenseful climax with a gunshot and a woman’s scream.
Agatha Christie: Death on the Nile is set to launch in 2025 on Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Fans of mystery and adventure games can look forward to more updates as the release date approaches.
