Bayek was hailed as the top character from Assassin’s Creed, superior to Ezio
Bayek in The Assassin’s creed game has been praised by fans as the greatest character in the game, closely being followed by Ezio.
This may be an uphill battle to swallow considering how Ezio Auditore is essentially the character that is the poster child of the “Assassin’s Creed” series, with many “peak” games under his name. The character is wildly popular and often being regarded as one of the most memorable gamers in history but no one else has even come even close to his stature up to now.
Recently, a lover of the game, named Luck_Shot, on Reddit was curious whether “Origins and Odyssey are as tedious and repetitive as Valhalla.” The series is collectively referred to as”the RPG series, the trilogy is often stated the following: Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is unfortunately the most frustrating game of the entire series. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is pretty excellent, even if it is a little over-the-top, while Assassin’s Creed Origins is the greatest.
The responses to the article confirmed this notion, even though the post triggered a different thread in which the protagonist from The Assassin’s creed Origins, Bayek, is one of the best characters in the game.
Abyss_Renzo began the conversation by saying “What is different about this game in comparison to Odyssey as well as Valhalla is the fact that it features an established character, specifically Bayek. Bayek is interested from beginning to end.”
Many agreed. While there were those who considered Ezio as a distant second although not quite as good for the most part, they were of the opinion that Bayek is just a more appealing with regards to the story and personality.
One wrote “Bayek was a great assassin protagonist … Best since Ezio in my opinion.”
Another person replied and went even further, adding “He’s superior to Ezio. Altair has always been my favorite. Even though I adore Ezio however, I wasn’t sure that he could be as intriguing in the way that other fans were.”
Then someone pointed out what is a pity that we did not see a sequel of Bayek’s narrative and said “If I were to say best protagonist based on first game only, I’d say it’s pretty close between Ezio and Bayek with the latter slightly coming out on top … It’s criminal that Bayek didn’t get a sequel.”
We’ll be honest: the greatest character in the world can’t be Bayek or Ezio It’s Edward Kenway and I won’t hear it said otherwise.
