Fortnite player count reportedly hit 100 million players in November
Fortnite ‘OG’ was a huge game that was a huge success in the battle royale game, so much to the point that it exploded its number of players over a month.
The new season for Fortnite is here and is once more making Fortnite a game changer with the introduction of brand new skins such as Metal Gear Solid’s Solid Snake and Family Guy’s Peter Griffin, a new map and an exciting LEGO mode.
There’s a good chance that popularity of Battle Royale has reached a new high due to the last season, ‘OG’ that restored the map in its initial form the moment it was released and became a hit. Some weren’t but, although many players were filled with nostalgic feelings when they saw their favourite places and objects return, however, it’s possible that this update rendered it less fun to those without glasses with rose tints.
However, things are, at least, all normal again however, the “OG” season left an indelible mark, since the number of players reportedly reached their peak during November, thanks to the change.
In a tweet from a few days ago, Epic Games responded to fan comments by saying “The OG season far exceeded our expectations,” and even hinted at its returning next year, when it stated “We’d like to bring it back… *opens 2024 roadmap doc*”

Whether this is identical to the map in an independent game mode or a different OG season that brings back an entirely different map from the past is unanswered, but thrilling nevertheless.
Fortnite is at the beginning of the fifth season. It is free to play across Xbox, PlayStation, PC as well as Nintendo platforms.
