Red Dead Redemption 3 has already created considerable debate within gaming communities
most are excited about Grand Theft Auto 6, yet many Rockstar fans remain hopeful for Red Dead Redemption 3. Although nothing has been confirmed as of yet, some speculate this may be Arthur Morgan’s last ride out into the Old West.
Rockstar Games is widely recognized as one of the premier gaming studios, making headlines recently after unveiling the long-awaited first Grand Theft Auto 6 trailer. Due to be released sometime around 2025, fans cannot help but wonder what this means for Red Dead Redemption franchise.
Since Red Dead Redemption’s launch in 2010 and Red Dead Redemption 2’s arrival in 2018, Rockstar’s action-adventure series has proven incredibly popular among players. Based around John Marston and Arthur Morgan – two gunslingers familiar to GTA fans – Red Dead Redemption features everything you would expect in GTA desert adventures, leaving fans hungry for more.
Arthur Morgan actor Roger Clark recently took to Twitter in order to share his thoughts regarding its future. No title had yet been announced for it yet.
“I am confident we will see RDR3 one day,” wrote Petersen. “However, when that will occur is unknown to me and Arthur may no longer play an integral part in its development; his story has already been told.”
With John Marston making an appearance in Red Dead Redemption 2, it would not have been the first time these games featured crossover characters. While fans hoped Arthur might appear briefly during flashbacks, it appears as though he has retired his cowboy outfit for good.
Red Dead Redemption and its sequel Red Dead Redemption 2 have become critically-acclaimed action-adventure series from Rockstar Games since their respective releases in 2010 and 2018 respectively. Following gunslinger John Marston and Arthur Morgan through their adventures across America’s West, this action-adventure series showcases everything GTA in the desert has to offer, leaving its fan base longing for more.
