Regular Human Workshop simulates 2D physical simulations. No predefined objectives or goals are present. Throw objects in the world, and then interact with them. A ragdoll is a simulation of a body that can balance itself easily on two legs. It can be made to sit or stand, or you can turn it into an abomination by shooting it, beating it, or stabbing it.
These ragdolls also have lifelike characteristics such as consciousness, blood circulation, and pain sensation. Regular Human Workshop has its special gravitational effects. Every object and effect is designed to adapt to the gravitational variations. The IO system (Input/Output), which was designed to make it as simple as possible, can connect most of the objects in the game. The button can be connected to the gun with wires. (See the above example).
Now, when you press the button the gun will shoot. This simple system of “when something happens do something” allows anyone to create automatons that are fun using a variety of objects, devices, sensors, and detectors.
The game also allows for loop connections which can be used to build complex automatons. In this game, things may happen too quickly for you to see. Sometimes you want to see the bullet fly through a ragdoll or witness an explosion turn a building into rubble. You can slow the pace of events by pressing a button. You may want to save your work for future use. You can copy and paste a collection of objects anywhere in the game.
