Three continents, Glenbrook, Esfrost, and Hisante, are fighting each other. Conflict erupted due to a lack of iron and salt. Serenoa is the protagonist. Prince Roland, his childhood best friend, helps him. They are joined by Prince Roland, Princess Frederica Esfrost, and Benedict the steward for Wolfforth. The heroes work together to travel the entire continent to resolve the conflict.
